As a scrapbook that puts many photos on a page, this is one of my favorite layouts. It works great if you have two horizontal and two vertical photos, but can also work by trimming two of the four to a square.
I began by using the navy with white dots cardstock from the Creative Memories Sugarplum Paper Pack. The paper pack features softer colors, a little twist on the traditional green and red. Using the Holly Border Punch, I punched a 12 inch strip from a lighter blue/green sheet from the Out of the Blue Designer Paper pack. I also cut out four photo mats for my 4 x 6 photos from the same paper.
Next I punched 5 poinsettias from the Poinsettia Punch, using the pint with white dots paper from the Sugarplum Paper Pack. I adhered the holly border to the top of the page, and placed the poinsettias on top. I then adhered the photo mats as shown in the photo, and added the poinsettia die cut to the middle, from the Sugarplum Embellishments pack. I added a small clear gem to the middle poinsettia on the top border, and a slightly larger one to the poinsettia die cut. You can add more gems; however I don’t usually use many dimensional embellishments as I pack my albums full!
